Naomi Campbell is not entertaining rumors that she has beef with Rihanna.

People on social media began speculating about the supermodel’s relationship with the singer after video clips went viral showing Rihanna walking past Campbell and stylist Law Roach at a fashion show last month — seemingly without stopping to greet them.

Campbell shut down the conjecture during a recent interview with The New York Times.

“I’m not about to let the world [pit] two Black women against each other,” she said. “We are two women with two children, mothers.”

In videos posted online, Campbell and Roach were sitting at the Sept. 6 Alaïa Winter Spring 2025 show in New York City when Rihanna entered the venue in a showstopping look, with two attendants carrying her train behind her. The “Work” singer could be seen stopping to embrace British Vogue Editor-in-Chief Edward Enninful — who was seated next to Campbell — before walking away.

People interpreted the interaction as Rihanna snubbing Campbell and Roach.

Speculation of a rift only grew after Roach posted a video on Instagram in which he and Campbell reference the “demure” trend made famous by viral TikTok star Jools Lebron to criticize people who dress inappropriately at fashion shows.

“It’s not about showing yourself, it’s about showing the clothes,” Campbell says at one point in the clip.

In a video shared on X, formerly Twitter, Roach responded to the chatter by saying that people should “stop trying to make nothing into something.”

A representative for Rihanna did not immediately return a request for comment.

Campbell made headlines last month for another rumored feud — this time with Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour, who described Campbell as someone who is “often late” while presenting her with an award.

Wintour left the event for another engagement, and Harper’s Bazaar Editor-in-Chief Samira Nasr continued introducing Campbell.

When the supermodel took the stage, she acknowledged that she’s “always late” before indicating that she was pleased Nasr was now the one presenting her with the award.

“It wasn’t my choice to have the other lady. I’d much rather have this,” she said at the time.
