You’ve never seen a “Dancing with the Stars” promo photo quite like this.

Anna Sorokin, also known as Anna Delvey, the fake German heiress who swindled New York’s elite social scene and whose crimes inspired Netflix’s “Inventing Anna,” is going to be on Season 33 of ABC’s long-running dance competition show, which premieres on Sept. 17.

The Russian-born convicted felon has been on house arrest in New York since 2022 for overstaying her visa. Because of this, the promo photo for her upcoming “DWTS” appearance includes her ankle monitor.

Social media users on X, formerly called Twitter, had mixed reactions to the news as Sorokin’s photo made its way onto the platform.

Sorokin is not the only notable casting choice for the upcoming season. Jenn Tran, the most recent “Bachelorette,” will be appearing, too. Tran’s casting was not mentioned during the excruciating three-hour “Bachelorette” live finale Tuesday night, in which producers forced Tran to rewatch her proposal to a man who later ended their engagement during a phone call.

Capitalizing on this year’s Paris Olympics, “DWTS” has also cast rugby player Ilona Maher and viral “pommel horse guy” Stephen Nedoroscik for its latest season.

Rounding out the rest of the dancers roster is former NFL wide receiver Danny Amendola; former “Bachelor” Joey Graziadei; NBA veteran Dwight Howard; model Brooks Nader; “Family Matters” actor Reginald VelJohnson; “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Phaedra Parks; “Pretty Little Liars: Summer School” actor Chandler Kinney; “Beverly Hills: 90210” actor Tori Spelling; and “Runaway Train” actor Eric Roberts.
