If you wanna throw a silly label at “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” its longtime star, Ice T, will likely come for you.
The actor, who has played Sergeant Odafin “Fin” Tutuola on the NBC crime drama since 2000, apparently had absolutely no patience for one fan’s complaint about the show on Tuesday.
“Did they write SVU back to normal yet? It started to go woke,” one person wrote.
“What the F is Woke? lol Like I give a Fuck,” Ice T replied.
The rapper then sniped back at another commenter who wrote, “Woke means tearing down my John Wayne statues and forcing me to erect a Spider-Man fountain that sprays gay beer on my lawn that turns it into astroturf.”
Ice T cracked back, “That sounds Dope. F John Wayne.”
“SVU” was renewed for the 2024-25 season, so anyone with future “woke” gripes should be warned that Ice T, who reminded commenters that he stays out of politics and said previously he does not belong to either major party, will be waiting for ya just the same.
Fans loved his blunt F-word response, which the rapper has employed previously.
