Big Brother Naija Season 9 contestant Kassia opened up on how she and her husband and partner on the show, Kellyrae’s pretence of being ‘besties’ is affecting her in the house.

DAILY POST reports that Kassia and Kellyrae, collectively known as DoubleKay, stated during the season premiere that although they are married, they would use the pretence of being besties in the house as a strategy.

After pretending for more than two weeks, Kassia told Biggie during Wednesday’s diary session that she’s beginning to find it difficult to cope with the pretence.

“This whole bestie thing that we are doing is really getting to me, sometimes I just wanna jump on him [Kellyrae] but I can’t because of this whole bestie thing,” she lamented.

“Most of the tasks that we are asked to do, like the Aquafina Padi of Life task we did yesterday, I couldn’t really express myself because I didn’t want the house to know that we were married. It hasn’t been easy, Big Brother.”

Meanwhile, Kellyrae said he intends to create an impression that he likes Anita and Handi to distract the housemates from thinking about him and Kassia being in a romantic relationship.

“I intent to give this impression that I like Handi and Anita so that the housemates drift their mind away from Kassia and I,” he explained.
