American singer Kehlani Ashley Parrish, simply known as Kehlani, has denied accusing the father of her child, Javaughn Young-White, of being “abusive.”

TMZ had reported that Kehlani got a restraining order against Young-White amid their child custody battle after accusing him of being “abusive.”

Reacting via her Instagram story, Kehlani dismissed the report, saying she never made such a statement.

She wrote, “I did not make a statement nor did I go to TMZ about my business.”

Kehlani welcomed her daughter with her guitarist, Javaughn Young-White in March 2019. The couple broke up shortly after the birth of their daughter.

The duo are currently battling for child custody.
