Nigerian singer Gabriel Oche Amanyi, professionally known as Terry G, has stated that no new street artiste is musically up to his match.
The singer said this on Wednesday while objecting to being compared with up-and-coming colleagues.
In a now-trending post on his official social media handles, Terry G, who felt disrespected by the development, described such a comparison as “a bad match.”
He wrote on the post: “Put some respect on my name.
“Comparisons have to be of equal match; then a better choice is made; comparing me with any new street sensation is a bad match; they can act crazy but not musically on my level on both vocal, playing of instruments, producing multi-platinum hits for several artistes and my catalogue.”
