American pop star, Lady Gaga, has confirmed her engagement to her French boyfriend, Michael Polansky.
The 38-year-old singer revealed she’s engaged to the 46-year-old Frenchman during a conversation with the French prime minister Gabriel Attal at the Paris Olympics over the weekend.
In a TikTok post on Sunday (28 July), Attal shared a short clip of the singer introducing herself and her partner.
While introducing Polansky, she surprised fans by stating: “This is my fiancé.”
The couple first sparked dating rumours after they were spotted together at a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas in 2019.
They went on to confirm their relationship a few months later on Instagram.
In early 2023, they reportedly separated for a time, according to the Daily Mail – but appeared to have reunited by August that year.
In March this year, they celebrated Gaga’s 38th birthday with a group of friends at Giorgio Baldi in California.
While performing at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games, Gaga stated that although she isn’t French, she has “always felt a very special connection with French people and singing French music.”
