Kris Jenner once praised her boyfriend, Corey Gamble, for his “strength and insight,” and it appears as thought he’s once again turning out to be a source of support as she recovers after a hysterectomy.
On Thursday’s episode of Hulu’s “The Kardashians,” Jenner can be seen curled up under a blanket on the sofa of her home when daughter Khloé Kardashian drops by for a visit.
“I had a nurse come over and tell me that I could either have my pain pill or a martini,” Jenner quipped to Kardashian. In a voiceover just moments later, she added: “I’m done with my surgery, and I feel great. I’m a bit swollen, I’m a bit sore ― but good.”
Both Jenner and Gamble are in good spirits, with Gamble doing his best to lighten the mood. When Kardashian asks how long her mom’s expected recovery period will be, Gamble replied: “Two weeks. We can’t hook up for two weeks.”
Viewers first learned of Jenner’s health concerns when the Season 5 trailer for “The Kardashians” premiered in May. In the clip, Jenner could be seen sharing the news with Kardashian and two of her sisters, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner.
“They found a cyst and, like, a little tumor,” she said.
Jenner detailed her decision to undergo a hysterectomy on the July 11 episode of “The Kardashians.”
“I’m going to remove something that gave me six of the best parts of my whole life,” she said, alluding to her five daughters and one son.
Later in the episode, Jenner became visibly emotional, noting that wanting a family was all she had “talked about literally for 40, 50 years.”
“So here we are now talking about it again,” she continued, “and it’s the other side of the process.”
Jenner and Gamble, a talent manager, were first romantically linked in 2014. The early days of their romance were documented on the former E! network show, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”
Though the couple’s 25-year age gap has drawn a fair share of media scrutiny, Jenner has gushed about Gamble in interviews, and hinted that marriage may be in the future.
“He’s a great sounding board. And he loves my kids and my mom, and they love him,” she told The Wall Street Journal in 2021.
