Nigerian music executive, Soso Soberekon, has lost a $10,000 bet to singer, Zlatan Ibile, after Spain beat England in the UEFA Euro 2024 final on Sunday night.

The Soberekon and Zlatan were captured betting $10,000 each in favour of England and Spain, respectively, in a video earlier shared on the singer’s Instagram.

But it was Zlatan who won the bet as Spain defeated England 2-1 to win a record fourth UEFA Euro title.

DAILY POST put Spain in front two minutes into the second half. Substitute Cole Palmer equalised for England in the 73rd minute, but an 86th-minute goal from Mikel Oyarzabal gave Spain a deserved victory.

Following the outcome of the game, Soberekon took to his Instagram story to share a crying emoji.
