American disc jockey DJ Khaled has urged fans to reach out to Rihanna to convince her to be on his upcoming album.
The ‘Another One’ crooner made the plea while appearing on the Tonight Show hosted by Jimmy Fallon recently.
Khaled disclosed that he had sent a record he wanted Rihanna to feature on to her and urged fans to help him convince her to do a verse on the song.
“I just sent her [Rihanna] a record that I want her to get on. I need y’all to help me get the message to her,” he pleaded with the audience.
DJ Khaled’s upcoming 14th studio album, ‘Til Next Time,’ is expected to arrive later this year.
The music star disclosed in an interview with Rolling Stone last year that Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy would be on the album.
He further revealed that Afrobeats is one of the inspirations for his new album.
Rihanna, on the other hand, had been on sabbatical. Her only musical release in recent years was her soundtrack for Black Panther 2, ‘Lift Me Up,’ which was co-written by Oscar-nominated Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, better known as Tems.
