“Uncut Gems” actress Julia Fox may have opened up about her sexuality on TikTok — in an unusually snarky way.
Fox, 34, filmed a reply to a viral TikTok from comedian Emily Gracin. In that clip, Gracin shared her thoughts on seeing “a lesbian with her boyfriend” and immediately knowing, “Aw, you hate that man! You literally hate him!”
In her own TikTok, posted Monday, Fox responds while filming herself walking down the street.
“Hey, that was me. I was that lesbian. So sorry, boys. Won’t happen again,” the “Camgirl” star says to the camera.
HuffPost has reached out to Fox’s reps for comment.
Fox’s admission comes two years after her brief yet high profile relationship with Ye, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West and ex-husband of Kim Kardashian. Fox and Ye dated in 2022 for less than two months before calling it quits.
Fox was previously married to Peter Artemiev from 2018 to 2020. The former couple welcomed their son, Valentino, in 2021.
The fashionista’s nearly 2 million TikTok followers showed excitement over her revelation, with many users commenting that they anticipated the news after the release of Fox’s 2023 memoir, “Down the Drain.”
“After your memoir i saw this coming and i just want to say how happy i am for you,” one person wrote.
Another said, “Wait i’m listening to ur book rn okay this makes sense. love u queen.”
“Omg yes mother!! i’ve been waiting for this. so proud of you,” someone else added.
Fox previously said she was “thinking about” dating a woman in a 2022 interview with Ziwe.
“I do think maybe I have a gay bone, and I need to explore that a little bit more,” she said at the time. “Like, maybe my ex-boyfriends weren’t wrong when they were calling me a lesbian and complaining that I never wanted to have sex with them.”
Fox has not been linked to another romantic partner since Ye. Earlier this year, she revealed she’s been celibate for over two and a half years.
“It was six months [with no sex] and then it was a year and then I’m like, ‘Oh my god, it’s almost two and a half years and it’s still going,’” she said during a “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” appearance in May.
