Kourtney Kardashian recently dished on ways her husband, Travis Barker, has been “protective” since they welcomed their infant son, Rocky, last year.
During this week’s episode of her family’s Hulu reality TV show, “The Kardashians,” the Poosh founder appeared in one scene talking to her mom, Kris Jenner, about their family’s upcoming group trip to Aspen, Colorado.
When Jenner asked her daughter if she had planned to join, Kourtney responded that the vacation would be “a lot” for her.
She then explained that her youngest son had not yet been on an airplane, and that the Blink 182 drummer is “protective over the baby.”
“Even when we walk down the street, he’s like, ‘Bring security, there’s loose dogs, and there’s coyotes, and there’s mountain lions,’” she tells Jenner. “So I think he feels the same way about me getting on a plane without him for the first flight.”
Kardashian also shares three children with ex Scott Disick: Mason, 14; Penelope, 11; and Reign, 9. Barker has three children with his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler: Landon, 20; Alabama, 18; and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 25.
The couple, who wed in 2022, took Rocky on his first flight shortly after the episode was filmed when their family traveled to Australia for Blink 182′s monthlong tour down under in February.
Barker has opened up in recent years about his struggles with grief and post-traumatic stress disorder since he survived a deadly plane crash in 2008, which killed four others.
In 2021, the musician praised Kardashian on Instagram when he documented taking his first plane ride since the tragic event.
“With you anything is possible,” he captioned the post that featured the couple kissing in front of a private jet.
