Seth Meyers went day-drinking with Julia Louis-Dreyfus in a “Late Night” segment Tuesday that generated many cocktails and one truly tasteless joke. (Watch the video below.)

Meyers first guzzled a martini at a midtown Manhattan bar and kept up a pretty good pace.

He was lubricated enough to be unfiltered when Louis-Dreyfus, of “Seinfeld” and “Veep” fame, asked fellow “Saturday Night Live” alum Meyers to tell a “Late Night” or “Weekend Update” joke that he loved but couldn’t say it on the air because it was too offensive.

He stumbled in his first stab at telling it, then got into a groove.

“A man in Washington state was recently arrested for animal cruelty after he was caught having sex with the family dog,” he said. “Even worse, it was makeup sex.”

Louis-Dreyfus burst into laughter and declared, “Yeah, I like that.”

The “Tuesday” actor then informed Meyers he looked like Ray Bolger, who played the Scarecrow in “The Wizard of Oz.”

We didn’t see that coming but we gotta agree.

Cheers, you two.

Fast forward to 8:30 for the joke that deservedly didn’t make it to TV but, well, finally did.
