Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor, aka Rema, has vowed to win the Grammys this year.

Despite not being nominated at the 2024 Grammys, Rema during his visit to billionaire businessman, Tony Elumelu at his Lagos mansion, claimed that he would clinch the Grammys this year.

The ‘Calm Down’ crooner, who interacted with the family of the billionaire and presented an exclusive album copy and his merchandise (Air Rema) as gifts, appreciated Elumelu for always supporting the Nigerian music industry.

Speaking in a video clip shared on the billionaire’s Instastory, Rema said: “Thank you for what you have done and the support you have for the music industry. I am grateful, it means a lot to me. This year I am bringing the Grammy.”

DAILY POST recalls that Rema was snubbed by the Recording Academy for the 2024 Grammy nominations.

The next Grammy award ceremony will hold in 2025.
